NKBA "Healthy Kitchen Symposium"

The NKBA Manhattan Chapter’s 2019 “Healthy Kitchen” Symposium was an innovative and in-depth discussion dedicated to designing kitchens for balanced living through nutrition, psychology, and the built environment. Presented as a series of three thought-provoking programs, our symposium focus on kitchen design solutions for the built environment that can be implemented to improve human health and well-being. This trade NKBA, AIA & WELL AP CEU/LU event was held Tuesday, June 25, 2019, 12:00-5:00 pm at NY Grow Project Farmhouse 76 East 13th Street New York, 10003 location and it was attended by Architects, Interior Designers, and industry professionals. Giselle Ulmo and Leslie Gustafson presented the concepts of WELL and how their applications benefit the built environment (with special focus on residential kitchens). Their presentation educated industry professionals on the benefits of Well in residential spaces and enlightened audience participants with many innovative ideas and products for improving health and wellness in their kitchen projects.
